Founder’s Journey – Dr. Ankit Upadhyay

My professional journey is deeply rooted in the values of discipline, integrity, humility, and service, instilled in me by my parents and family. In particular, my father, Late Shri Radha Krishan Upadhyay, has been the strongest pillar of my life — his principles, sacrifices, and unwavering belief in ethical living shaped both my character and purpose.
In honour of his guidance and legacy, I named my brand RK Physiotherapy Clinic, carrying forward his values through my work.

Originating from the historic land of Mewar, my journey reflects a harmonious balance of heritage, humility, and modern medical excellence.

I completed my early education in Bijainagar, Rajasthan, before pursuing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) at the Udaipur Institute of Physiotherapy, affiliated with RUHS University, India. During my academic training, I was mentored by my revered Guruji, Dr. Deepak Sharma, whose guidance established my lifelong commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and patient-focused care.

My clinical expertise was further refined through professional experience at Mewar Orthopaedic Hospital, followed by specialized service as a Pulmonary Physiotherapist at Maharana Bhupal Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this critical period, I successfully treated 500+ patients through respiratory rehabilitation, demonstrating resilience, precision, and responsibility in high-pressure clinical environments.

In 2021, I was privileged to be appointed Personal Physiotherapist to the Mewar Royal Family at City Palace, Udaipur, serving Shri Ji Huzur Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar. This role elevated my professional discipline and standards of excellence, reinforcing a philosophy of discreet, personalized, and world-class care.

With the blessings of my family, the inspiration of my father Shri Radha Krishan Upadhyay, and the continued guidance of Shri Ji Huzur Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, I founded RK Physiotherapy Clinic in 2023. Today, I continue to serve the Royal Family of Mewar while leading RK Physiotherapy Clinic — a premium healthcare destination offering personalized rehabilitation, advanced physiotherapy, and refined patient experiences for both domestic and international clients.
